Learning to build a robot in one week and deploying robot software in another may seem impossible, but SEER Robotics said they are becoming a reality at its training site. The Shanghai, China-based company said it is accelerating innovation for the global robotics ecosystem.
“Together with over 1,300 global partners, SEER Robotics is driving an open and diverse intelligent civilization, creating a one-stop robot platform within reach for users,” it stated.
SEER Robotics was co-founded in 2015 by members of the RoboCup champion team. They had applied their technical expertise and innovative spirit to win the competition involving small humanoid robots playing soccer three times.
The company said it has grown into a leading global robotics provider. SEER has expanded with multiple rounds of financing from investors including IDG Capital, Prologis, and Ecovacs.

Robot controllers a significant part of the portfolio
In addition to automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and self-driving forklifts, SEER Robotics’ diverse portfolio includes controllers and digital software. It said it is “continuously lowering the barriers for customers to build, pick, and manage robots.”
The SRC controller is SEER Robotics’ core product, now including low-, mid-, and high-end models:
- SRC-880: An entry-level robot controller to reduce robot manufacturing costs, designed for differential drive robots
- SRC-2000 Series: A general-purpose robot controller with high performance for various types of robot manufacturing
- SRC-3000FS Series: A safety robot controller that meets the needs of European and American customers.
The company claimed that the SRC-3000FS Series is the first safety robot controller certified by SGS TÜV SAAR. The system reduces the need for a safety PLC in industrial machinery design, according to SEER Robotics.
In addition to demonstrating its hardware expertise, the company said the SRC controller shows its software prowess. SEER Robotics asserted that its software is easy to use, removing barriers to robot adoption. It touted the following features:
- RDS: A unified resource scheduling system for multi-robot fleets
- M4 QuickGo: A plug-and-play application for single-robot operations
The company also offers comprehensive, full-lifecycle management and visualization products for various industrial subsectors:
- Meta-Map: A 2D robot visualization map that digitally recreates the factory environment and displays robot status.
- Meta-Map Pro: A 3D robot visualization map that provides real-time monitoring of robot status in a three-dimensional factory environment.
- Meta-World: A 1:1 digital twin that accurately replicates real-world scenarios.

SEER Robotics says it’s a ‘one-stop shop’ for building robots
SEER Robotics said it provides a “one-stop” offering for building robots, including its core SRC controller products, components, function libraries, and a range of robot-building plans to make robot accessible to all.
The company noted that its partner robot library includes more than 1,000 types of robots, catering to various applications such as lifting robots, stacker forklifts, reach forklifts, counterbalanced forklifts, box robots, composite robots, and humanoid robots. All are equipped with SEER Robotics’ controller for unified scheduling and management.
With so many robot options, how do customers choose the right one? To help customers quickly pick suitable robots, SEER Robotics last year launched the Nebula Platform, an integrated online platform for building, picking, and managing robots. It not only solves the matching challenges between diverse customer needs and customized systems, but the company said it also promotes standardization and intelligent development across the entire robotics industry.
